Biden bowed out and Vice President Harris took over at the top of the ticket and the "KHive" have embraced "brat summer" with CharliXCX getting 50 M views. for her tweet about that. Now at my age and gender I have almost no understanding of 'brat summer". But if it gets Kamala Harris elected President, it has my full support.
Don't get me wrong I have the CharliXCX track "Break the Rules" downloaded on a music service. I think it was either free or I heard it on SNL and I forget how long ago, but it jams.
Two years ago today the Dobbs decision came down overturning Roe v Wade. This is what a good friend of yours wrote in Facebook that day:
"Millions of women will die. The republican party doesn’t care if a young girl has been raped or even as a victim of incest rape. Every single one of the republican nominees supreme court justices lied under oath. If you vote Republican, you have blood on your hands, both in the idiotic Quest to have moronic unsafe gun laws, and in the disgusting move to control a woman’s body. Are you a republican? Blood on your hands. Every child that dies from school shooting, every girl that dies trying to save her life after her cousin raped her. Fuck you Republicans"- Tara Strong
The powers that be that are "pro-birth" don't want more babies. They want more WHITE babies. They see those women who choose to be alone rather than be with some patriarchal bozo was prime breeders.. Just ask Elon Musk. (to be fair Elon can afford all those kids).
I also see that women want their propesctive partners to BE good and decent men. That is very understandable. And as a man in the dating pool I am trying like all get out to be that ideal person. But I'm afraid that ain't good enough for a good percentage of these women. These women want their prospective mate to be super hot and/or super rich as well as being a super person. I can be as good a person as possibl (that I can control) but being super hot or super rich I can't control that.
